Well, the title says it. I have found the best recipe for smoothies.
It's the best flavor, the best texture, it's just phenomenal. And the best part is that you can control how much of each ingredient you put in there. But I'll give you all the details.
Here are the main ingredients:
Some optional ingredients (that I really like) are soy milk, Truvia, and ice.
Throw two heaping tablespoons of greek yogurt in a blender. Add one tablespoon of peanut butter, and one tablespoon (or two, if you want) of the wheat germ. You can use one or two bananas- your choice. I usually add about 8 oz of light soy milk (so the smoothie isn't too thick), and about 5 ice cubes (so it's the perfect temperature). If you taste it and it's not sweet enough for you, add some Truvia.
Another thing that I love about it is the nutritional value of the ingredients- you're getting a great blend of protein (greek yogurt and peanut butter), fat (peanut butter), fiber (wheat germ) and vitamins (bananas).
I have been eating it for breakfast every morning this week. And I have lost 4 lbs since making this switch. So I highly recommend it! :)
